A Kalamazoo native, Patti has over 20 years in the health and wellness field. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a B.S. degree in Exercise Science, and Indiana University with a M.S. degree in Exercise Science. She has worked in cardiac rehab, exercise stress testing, personal training, and corporate wellness. She feels prevention of chronic disease is very important and is a big proponent that exercise is medicine. Although the physical side of health is important, she coaches the whole person and tries to look at the other dimensions of wellness as well – emotional, social, spiritual, occupational, and intellectual.
Patti is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Certified Exercise Physiologist, and also holds an Exercise is Medicine credential.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, SUP/kayaking, exercising, cooking, and reading. Patti, along with her husband, have three grown sons and four grandchildren.
